Spruce up package

Spring:

• Have your loft, roof, basement and ceilings all checked for water damage
• Have the filters in your heating and air conditioning systems replaced
• Have walls and masonry checked for cracks and subsidence
• Change the batteries on smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
• Inspect the seals on windows and doors
• Have your gutters and downspouts cleaned out and fixed as necessary
• Have your heating and air conditioning systems serviced
• Have any exterior painting carried out
• Get any decking cleaned and sealed

Summer:

• Have your roof inspected
• Have your driveway and walkways inspected for cracks and settling
• Have windows double glazed
• Have external electrics checked out
• Have external decorating completed

Autumn:

• Have air conditioning systems cleaned out
• Have all batteries changed on smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
• Have all seals on windows and doors inspected
• Inspect joints in ceramic tiles and caulk around tub and sink and have replaced as necessary
• Have all exposed wiring and cords inspected for wear and fraying
• Have heaters inspected unvented for proper ventilation
• Have your heating and air conditioning systems serviced
• Have all plumbing inspected for leaks or potential leaks
• In late autumn have all gutters cleaned out and fixed as necessary
• Have boilers checked and central heating systems power flushed
• Have internal electrics checked out
• Have insulation installed

Winter:

• Oil door locks and hinges and tighten doorknob and hinge screws
• Inspect the loft for pests
• Inspect around your property for wasp nests and have removed
• Let us put up all those external Christmas lights
• Have carpets replaced-take advantage of those sales!
• Have all interior decorating carried out
