ProTech's rates are completely transparent and highly competitive.
We are different because:
– We are one of the few companies to offer half hourly charging with no hidden extras such as parking, petrol or congestion charge. We have a minimum one hour charge but any extra time we spend with you is only billed by the half hour.
– We do not charge for estimates and have an average turnaround time of 48 hours from attending to providing you with a full written quote. Please note, however, that inspections, surveys and investigations are chargeable.

Material collection fixed £40 charge where appropriate and electrical certificates charged at £5 for non notifiable and £15 for notifiable. No other charges such as call-out, parking, congestion charges etc. Charges are subject to VAT.
Half Day Rates:
Handyman – £140 (four hours)
Full Day Rates
Handyman – £250, Plumbing & Electrical – £300, Carpentry – £275, Gas – £400 (eight hours)
Contract or Larger works will be discounted. (Painting & Decorating over 5 working days etc)
Fixed Price Work
Boiler Servicing and Gas Safety reports
Residential – Boiler service £85 per appliance
Commercial – Boiler service up to 125kw £220, 125-250kw £330, 250-350kw £440, over 350kw estimated from site.
Gas Safety report £150 for up to 3 appliances, £40 per appliance thereafter.
Domestic / Residential CCTV Surveys
£195 for up to and including 2 manholes. Additional manholes charged at £85.00 per hour thereafter. Price includes DVD and written report.
Electrical Periodic Inspections
Commercial – £250 fixed site charge including testing of up to and including 10 circuits. Every circuit thereafter is charged at a rate of £25 per circuit.
Residential – Bedsit £185, 1 Bed £200, 2 Bed £220, 3 Bed (or 2 bed maisonette) £230, 4 Bed (or 3 bed maisonette) £260, 5 Bed £300
Note – This is based on the assumption that we are provided suitable access to the electrical installation.
PAT Tests
£135 per site up to and including 35 appliances (£2 per appliance thereafter or call us now for a free no obligation quotation).
System Flushes
Up to 7 Radiators - £300 (each additional panel add - £20)
Pre-Purchase Surveys
Roofing – £150
Plumbing – £95
Electrical Visual – £95
Gas – £95
Disposals
Charged at a flat rate of £70.00 per removal
