Adaptations Solutions

Helping the elderly & less able to maintain independent living.

Protech Property Solutions are one of the fastest growing companies who specialise in the installation of aids and adaptations for the elderly and less able. What makes ProTech unique is its skilled and sympathetic workforce and its ever-expanding team of multi-trade fitters. Its quality service extends throughout London and the Home Counties and focuses on both public and private buildings, whether self-financing or through disabled facilities grants.

We help the elderly and less able to maintain independent living by offering a comprehensive range of adaptations in the home. These include kitchen, bathroom and access adaptations and bespoke extensions.

From initial design through to final installation, we provide working practices to guarantee the smooth running of each project.

Disability Discrimination Act

The Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA) addresses the obstacles which many disabled people experience in everyday life: in employment; access to goods and services; transport; and education.

The DDA applied to anyone who provided a service to the general public, placing a duty on them to make reasonable adjustments to the way they provided their service so they did not discriminate against disabled customers or employees.

This act has now been replaced by the Equality Act 2010 but the same principles apply.

ProTech has many years experience working with all forms of access issues. We work with many organisations and are able to help  with design issues and specification briefs.
