Our fast growing building and property maintenance department is looking for a multi-skill engineer who can handle pressure to join our amazing property maintenance team.

Clients range from large, multi-story residential buildings to small, luxury facilities. We currently focus on residential, but we would like to expand our property maintenance division into other areas.

Our excellent engineers our responsible for safely driving to and from clients sites and maintaining the buildings to the highest standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS & DUTIES

Our engineers are responsible for providing clients with an exception service which may include the following task:

• To carry out reactive and planned property maintenance works to various types of properties both domestic and commercial as required.
• To carry out duties to both occupied and unoccupied properties. This will include both internal and external areas.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager
• Positively promote Protech Property Solutions, promote their services to increase customer awareness and increase the profitability of the business.
• Carry out surveys and prepare estimates to ensure all opportunities are taken to create new business and increase revenue and profitability for Protech Property Solutions.
• Operate smart phones to retrieve work, order parts, replenish stock, update records and view customer information.
• Deal positively with customer complaints, speedily resolving these in the most cost effective way while ensuring that high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
• Excellent organisational skills a must
• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision

OTHER ATTRIBUTES, ABILITIES, REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Full driving licence.
• Commitment to customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Ability to take ownership of issues/problems and personally sees them through to delivery.
• Organised approach to work, able to manage your time effectively and efficiently
• Must possess a full, well-maintained tool kit suitable for the trades at all times.
• Ability to identify any related Asbestos containing materials and report and act within guidelines within the company policy
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within a Multi Trade discipline
• Experience of all relevant associated Multi Trade duties in particular as detailed above.
• Understanding the customers both internally and externally & work towards driving impeccable service.
• Health & Safety awareness and training to the required CITB industry standard.

DESIRABLE

• Experience of working alone or as part of a team.
• First aid qualification.
• Good geographical knowledge.

• Manual handling
• Ladder Safety
• Asbestos awareness
• Working with Risk Assessments & Method Statements
• Hot Works Permits
• Working at Height
• Electrical Awareness
• Gas Awareness

HOURS

Gross 40 hour week (Monday – Friday | 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one hour lunch)

WAGES

£ 13.50 – £16.00 per hour
