Our fast growing garden maintenance department is looking for a full time gardener/driver to join our amazing garden team.

Clients range from large, multi-story residential buildings to small, luxury facilities. We currently focus on communal garden maintenance for residential blocks of apartments, but we would like to expand our facility division into other areas.

Our marvellous gardener/drivers our responsible for safely driving to and from sites and maintaining the communal gardens to the highest standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS & DUTIES

Our teams are responsible for providing clients with an exception service based on the properties bespoke specification which may include the following task.

  • Ability to handle equipment and machinery used in cleaning
  • Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
  • Knowledge of garden chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
  • Excellent organisational skills a must
  • Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision

Routine tasks include:

  • To undertake general ground and garden maintenance to the standard required by the company
  • Ensure lawn is well kept and mowed regularly
  • Ensure trees and hedges are trimmed to the required standard
  • Maintain shrub and flower beds
  • Apply pesticides in a safe manner
  • Ensure leaves are cleared from the pathway
  • To assist with refuse collection and disposal
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
  • Ensure monthly safety inspections take place

Please Note: this is not an all-inclusive list. Additional duties may be required/assigned dependant on the site’s needs.

  • Communication– report daily issue to office | be our clients “eyes & ears”

HOURS

Gross 40 hour week (Monday – Friday | 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one hour lunch

WAGES

Exceeds national living wage.
