Surveys and Inspections
We all know how important it is to keep our home safe. That is why we carry out surveys and inspections for your peace of mind. These surveys and inspections include:
Gas Safety Inspection
In Great Britain, over 14 people die every year from carbon monoxide poisoning and exposure. They could be prevented by regular safety inspections. Legislation requires that landlords have to have all gas appliances checked every 12 months. Our Gas Safe Registered engineers are accredited to carry out these jobs and issue Gas Safe Certificates (CP 12), making your home safe and secure.
Once the installation has passed the inspection you will be issued with two copies of your gas safe certificate. One copy for the landlord and one for the tenant. An inspection will include a visual check of the installation, position of terminals and signs of incomplete combustion. We will check casings and seals and also the meter for access and correct labelling. We will also check ventilation and test the flue flow for correct operation. We will of course, also check for any unsafe operation of appliances and repair them, if required.
Gas Safe Register London
It is all about safety. Since 1st of April 2009 legislation requires all engineers who work on gas appliances to be Gas Safe Registered. To find a registered gas engineer, look no further than ProTech Property Solutions. Applying only experienced, Gas Safe Registered engineers gives you a peace of mind. They carry out installation, maintenance and safety checks to make sure your home is safe and secure.
Every gas engineer has their own Gas Safe Register ID card with their unique licence number. Before any gas work is carried out in your home, make sure the engineers are Gas Safe and ask for their Gas Safe Registered ID card.
Periodic Inspection Reports (PIR)
We all know that electricity can be lethal, which is one reason why in 2005 the government brought in a policy that any work requiring the disconnection of any part of your electrical system must be undertaken by a qualified electrician.
This is why we, at ProTech Property Solutions, offer electrical services and maintenance to cover any type of fault or repair. We employ only fully trained, experienced electricians qualified to a minimum of 16th edition so we are able to self-certify that our work complies with Current Building Regulations. Like everything else, electricity deteriorates by time, so it is advisable to get a PIR (Periodic Inspection Report) to make sure your property is safe and secure.

Electricity kills. Every week in the UK someone dies in an electrical accident. Most of these accidents could be prevented by regular safety checks.
